MH PROTECTION RELAYS

MTB

Conventional electronic protection relays rely on a continuous auxiliary power supply to remain functional with fault isolation. Without a UPS supply source, the easy way is to tap power before the circuit breaker, which compromises safety and creates reliability problems. Once the circuit breaker at the upstream trips or the UPS supply is exhausted, the conventional relays will reset and lose the fault indication.

Mechanical Trip Button (MTB) Features

A Mechanical Trip Button was created and patented by Mun Hean Technology to overcome the said drawbacks. It operates without dependence on an auxiliary power supply.

The design of an MTB is simple in concept, but the system is exceptionally challenging to design and
manufacture. By successfully doing so, the MH Protection Relay has steadfastly built itself a reputation for delivering, a protection class of its own.
