MTB
MTB, or Mechanical Trip Button, is a proprietary lockout feature designed to prevent an operator from re-energising the circuit breaker before the fault has been isolated and the MTB has been reset.
When activated, the MTB latches the output contacts and continues to indicate the presence of a fault until the fault is cleared and the relay is reset. This is achieved without the need for an auxiliary power supply to the relay.
